Jewellery Care Instructions

As with anything delicate and beautiful, care must be taken to keep your jewellery at its best.

Ameliana uses the finest quality materials, designed to last through many cherished memories. Our jewellery pieces are crafted from 925 sterling silver, and our yellow gold items are plated with either 14 or 18-carat gold over sterling silver.

General Care

  • Store in the pouch and box provided to keep your jewellery protected from dust and oxygen and to keep it looking shiny.

Regularly clean your jewellery with a soft cloth to maintain its shine. 

The pink pouch your jewellery arrives in can be used both for storage and as a polishing cloth.

Avoid Contact With

  • Perfume
  • Saltwater
  • Lotions
  • Cleaning chemicals
  • Chlorine

These substances can damage the finish and accelerate tarnishing.

Tarnishing and Oxidation

  • Tarnishing (oxidation) is a natural process for sterling silver, caused by exposure to oxygen, which can darken the metal over time.
  • To minimise tarnishing, always store your jewellery in the pouch provided.

 Safety

  • We recommend children under 3 years of age be supervised at all times while wearing Ameliana jewellery.
